|Title||Subdivision of Gudex's Farm, Claremont|
|Scope & Content||
Coloured sale plan entitled "Subdivision of Gudex's Farm, Claremont : 632 acres freehold for sale by public auction at the National Mortgage and Agency Coy's land saleroom Timaru on Saturday, January 10th, 1914."
Described as "high-quality agricultural land", the area in question appears to be bordered by Claremont Road to the north and Fairfield and Guscott Roads to the east. Pareora Road is a little south of the southern boundary and the Timaru water race passes through the southern portion of the property. A locality plan gives its relative location to Timaru (scale 1 mile to 1 inch).
Land for sale includes four blocks of 165, 147, 160 and 160 acres respectively (coloured on the map), with the first block including the homestead buildings.
The main plan includes details of roads, streams, unfenced boundaries, live hedges, fenced buildings and paddocks and indicates land use (wheat, oats, etc). It also indicates adjacent property owners (Holmore, West, Cassey, Rosendale and Cairns).
