"Canterbury Land District No.483 : Teschemaker Settlement", showing land for lease under the Lands for Settlement Act. Applications closed on 20 March 1915.
Provides a key showing the first-class and second-class lands available - consisting of 3,625 acres for selection on renewable lease in the Otaio and Waimate Survey Districts, Waimate County.
Teschemaker's Valley Road runs through the lands with the Kohika Settlement adjoining the properties on the southeastern border. The property is indicated to be situated about seven miles from Otaio Railway Station, seven miles from Makikihi Railway Station, and twelve and a half miles to Waimate.
Neighbouring property owners are indicated (see people field). A school is also shown and the Otaio Homestead is marked near the eastern boundary of the properties.
