A single sheet linen plan for the erection of a bathing shed on Caroline Bay off the North Mole, dated 1 September 1905.
Provides sections, elevations and floor plans of the building. A clipping pasted to the plan and associated notes show the plan was approved by the Harbour Board and permission was granted for the Timaru Borough Council to erect the shed. The clipping also reports the stipulations that it must be removed if given three months notice, and that bathers be compelled to wear "knee to elbow" costumes.
Marked "NMBS-1" and with the Timaru Harbour Board plan number 488.
