The interior features a picture of the Avro aeroplane that made the journey, plus lists the pilot and passenger. They were Captain Euan Dickson, DSC, DFC, Croix de Guerre (pilot), the passengers from Christchurch to Fairlie as R L Banks and R Wigley, the passengers from Fairlie to Mount Cook (and return) as T D Burnett (MP) and G Pearson, and the passengers from Fairlie to Christchurch as R H Hunter-Weston and Master Gould Hunter-Weston.

The rear cover features a pasted photograph of Wigley, Dickson and Banks.
