Cover's the early development of the station, Robert Heaton Rhodes (Jnr) purchase of it, and later development of the station. Sections also recount the author's childhood and later marriage years spent on the station.
The book includes several appendices on the areas geology, flora, fauna and forestry. The book also includes a bibliography and index.
This copy has several additions. It is signed by the author on the title page and bears a pasted photograph of her on her 90th birthday on the previous page. Several inserts were also included (see notes).
