A brief history of Seadown School from opening until closure in 2004.
Comprised of two parts, the first being a reproduction of the centennial publication "Seadown School centennial 1890-1990" and the second part bringing the history of the school up until closure.
Part one is largely a timeline extracted from the school committee minute books illustrated with group photographs. It also includes photographs of the centennial celebrations, appendices listing school committee and board of trustees officers, principals, long-service teachers and staff and students as of October 1990. Snippets relating to local community activities and organisations also appears toward the rear.
Part two is constructed similarly to part one, being largely a basic timeline with a list of teachers 1989-2004 and other staff or office bearers. Also includes a photographic section on the school's trip to Auckland in 2004.
