Object Name Costume
Description Child's cowboy costume. Fabric: Green and brown hessian with leather trim.

Waistcoat: Front: Front opening V neckline and points at the hem, Brown hessian yoke with pale brown leather fringe and four petalled flower appliqued on with stud in the middle.Green hessian jacket.
Back: Green hessian yoke fringed at bottom. Leather bull's head appliqued centre back with two chrome studs for eyes. Brown hessian jacket with leather star appliqued and with central stud.

Chaps (Leggings): Front: Brown hessian waistband with leather bullhead appliqued centre font and eye studs. Band has leather strap and buckle. Two large button holes in band - ? Elastic at waist inside. Chaps in green and brown hessian have leather clover leaf like appliques with centre stud - three on each leg. Side of chaps fringed on outside edge.
Back: Leather straps at back of thigh to attach. Chap legs joined near bottom.

Construction. Overlocked seams and hems and double top stitched. Machine sewn. Probably home made.
