Object Name Clip, Tie
Description Small tie clip made from a mutton bone, carved with pocket knife. The tie clip is finely carved in the shape of a pair of hand shears with serrated edges. The centre is hollow and the band at the back of the tie clip has various striated designs. Design and topic is most appropriate to the time period and location it was made ( late 19th C sheep stations in South Canterbury).
