Description Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal awarded to Colonel Sergeant J. Beckingham in 1911 for 20 years service.

Obverse: The head of King Edward VII facing left. The words "EDWARDVS VII REX IMPERATOR" surround the King's profile.

Reverse: In the center of the medal, it reads "FOR LONG SERVICE IN THE COLONIAL AUXILIARY FORCES". These words are surrounded by a wreath with a crown (Tudor Crown) at the apex.

The edge of the medal reads "NO179 COL-SERG.J.BECKINGHAM, TIMARU PORT GUARDS RIFLES (1911)"

There is a bar that would have been used to attach a ribbon. There is no ribbon.
