Large fossil mussel shell contained inside sandstone. A pair opened out, one half damaged and missing a fair part.
Found in Tengawai River at Silver Hills, Albury district. Contained in a large chunk of rock exposed from several floods earlier in the year. Site had disaapeared several months after discovery.
