Object Name Wringer, Mop
Description Galvanised tin bucket . Flat piece of metal riveted at the sides where the seams are for the iron? with a hole at the top for the handle and rollers to attach. The handle is square at the top with a shaped block of wood nailed in for gripping. The rollers for squeezing the mop are wooden with the larger top roller bolted to the iron? bar riveted to the handle. The smaller bottom roller is bolted to the iron bar attached to the handle and bucket with a bolt at one side and a loop of wire at the other side. Seam around the base folds over the edge of the base and neatly soldered? up on the outside. Written on the base in marker pen is "Dom".
