Object Name Jacket
Description Rust coloured crepe blouse.

Front: Round neckline with small stand up collar. There is a cream inner collar tacked inside. Cream crepe bow at centre front below the collar, domed and tacked in place.
Front opening with three sets of three covered buttons and loops with domes in between.
Top part of front each side has insertion of pintucked fabric. This insertion is surrounded by fine brown cord applique work in leafy pattern.

Darts at waist give shaping. At the bottom of each front is more cord applique.

Back: Five darts at centre back give shaping.

Sleeves: Long narrow sleeves. Two pleats at top just forward of shoulder seam with small shoulder pad inserted.

Construction: Side and sleeves seam edges turned over and machine stitched. Insert seams raw. Armhole seams zig zagged. Hems hand herringbone stitched. Facing edges turned over and stitched. Some alterations i.e. side seams let out.
