Square box with image of boy and girl in period costume on cover and paper serviettes inside.
Cover has black background with gold stars and a male wearing pale green and white chequerboard patterned tunic and trousers with white hat and red cape. He is kissing the hand of the young woman wearing a flounced skirt part of which is cut away and shows part of the paper serviettes in the box.
Inside the box are two types of serviettes. One is large square white paper serviette decorated with scalloped edge, gold lines inset from edge with both bright and pale green and white half circles. The centre of these is white. There are also paper doilies with cream lace pattern backed with a pale green. All are tied with a green ribbon and have not been used.
Box is a pale green with textured surface which has been picked out in gold. On inside of lid is gold rosette with :The Lace Dress Box of Lacette Paperware. Made in England by Raphael Tuck and Sons Ltd London."
