Object Name Figurine
Description Figurine of a peasant girl holding a mandolin, with flowers in her apron, on a stepped wooden base. Spelter (combination of zinc and pewter) finished to resemble bronze.

Girl wears a sleeveless, buttoned bodice over a blouse with full, short sleeves. Apron over two skirts - overskirt is decorated with a flower pattern and is pulled up at the left side to reveal a full, pleated underskirt. Stockings are striped, shoes have low heels and small bows.

Stands on a thin, textured round which is screwed onto the base and secured with a washer and nut, hidden inside a cavity cut into the centre of the base.
