Object Name Smock
Description Man's white cotton smock.

Front: Round neckline with stand up collar. Ties at the neck front. Evidence of some trim around collar. Lined yoke. Smock gathered into yoke. Yoke top stitched just above gathering.
Centre front opening 32cm long with tie halfway down(one missing) then centre front seam, possibly sewn later. Reinforcing strip just front of sleeves.

Back: Smock gathered into yoke which is top stitched. Centre back seam in yoke. Two pleats taken in centre back to make smaller. Reinforcing strip just forward of armholes.

Sleeves: Long sleeves gathered at top of arm. Gusset underarm. Gathered into cuff. Cuff has rounded corners, a frill and a button and hand made buttonhole.
