   The local fishing boat, "Lo-Loma" (TU.1), pictured during refitting in the early 1950s. The boat was refitted by Sam and Murray Askin on a section they had behind the Dominion Hotel. One of five images donated together depicting the rebuild and relaunch of the vessel.

2. [Relaunching the fishing boat "Lo-Loma"]

   The refitted local fishing boat "Lo-Loma" (TU.1), on Strathallan Street while on its way to being relaunched in the early 1950s. The boat had been rebuilt and outfitted by Sam Askin and his son Murray. Murray can be seen on the boat near the bow as it passes by the old Customs Building (only just visible in the upper right corner of the image). Bears the photographic studio's stamp on the verso with the handwritten reference number "C 372/9...
