1. Lest we forget! Mount Cook and some who have helped - Burnett Collection

   A large frame containing the original license granted to George McRae and Mr Burnett to "Depasture stock" on 5000 acres in the Mackenzie Country, dated 16 May 1864, renewed 1 May 1870, and reduced to 4950 acres on 1 May 1886. The license is surrounded by a collection of images of the Burnett's, Mount Cook homestead, and local notables. Appears to have been presented by Donald and Thomas David Burnett to their mother, Catherine in November 1906...
