    An undated view of the Hochstetter Glacier icefall, probably taken in the 1930s. Identified by a pencil note on the verso as "Hochstetter Ice Falls. L Wallace Photo. The Hermitage. Mt Cook" and "1930s?". Additional notes also include "Glacier Dome".Tasman", and "Siberhorn" (the latter two at least being positioned behind the photographer?). The verso also bears the photographer's name stamped in blue/purple ink.
