Description |
A plaque to George Mitchell Thomson, mounted on the internal wall of an unidentified building (a church), circa 1890s. The plaque records it was erected by Thomson's brothers and sisters, after he drowned in Lake Pukaki on 7 December 1885, aged 29. Bears once bore a number in the lower left corner, but it is now illegible. |
