Description |
Ammeter and brown leather case. The ammeter is made of black metal with two metal handles. One handle is longer than the other and is fixed in place. The shorter handle twists to open and close the top section of the ammeter. There is a rounded glass face above the handles with a dial from "0" to "100" with "A C Ampere Rectifier Instrument Ferranti. Made in England. No. 136630" written on the face. The top section of the ammeter has two red lines and there is a note in the case instructing "When using this ammeter, conductor should be kept in line with red lines." The case is embossed with "SCEPB Timaru", has two leather straps, and is lined with blue velvet. |
