5. Suit - Men's three-piece suit made by James Arthur Bunt for his son Theordore John Strange, circa 1930. The suit fabric is dark navy wool with a white pin stripe, and lined with cotton. The jacket is single breasted, has a wide collar, and fastens at the front with two black buttons. There is a pocket on the left breast and a pocket at the left and right hip. The sleeves fasten at the cuff with three small black buttons. The label inside reads "J. A. Bunt. Tailor, Timaru." The waistcoat has a deep V neck and fastens at the front with five small black buttons. There is a pocket at each side of the front. The waistcoat has a belt at the waist with a black buckle in the centre. The trousers fasten at the waistband with three buttons and a metal hook. There are two buttons for braces on the waistband, and a pocket at each hip. The braces are grey elastic with adjustable metal clips.

Suit - Dark navy Red Cross wool suit jacket and skirt worn by Mrs Minnettie Harriet (Bunty) Breen who served at the Timaru Red Cross Voluntary Aid Detachment during World War II and into the 1970s. The jacket has a pointed collar and fastens at the front with three Red Cross Society buttons. There is a pocket with a button down flap at the left and right hips. Each sleeve fastens with three small Red Cross buttons, there is an epaulette on the shoulder and a round white cloth badge stitched to the top of one sleeve embroidered with a red cross and "NZRC". A belt is sewn to the back of the jacket and fastens at the front with a buckle. The jacket is lined with brown satin. The skirt fastens at the waist with a metal zip on the left and two metal hooks.

23. Suitcase - Small brown leather suitcase belonging to John Leslie Laurenson who played in the Temuka Pipe Band, and served in Italy during WWII, 1939-1945. The case has a leather handle attached at the top with two metal rings, and closes with a metal clasp. The case is lined with pale blue canvas. The inside of the lid reads "J. L. Laurenson", his service number "443188" and address "King St. Temuka, N.Z."

24. Sweeper, Carpet - A Ewbank 1200 carpet sweeper, belonged to David and Mary Clarke, circa 1970s. The sweeper consists of an orange wooden body, with three wheels on either side hidden by grey plastic covers and a grey rubber buffer around around the body. The sweeper has a wooden broom handle which screws into a metal frame that fits into the sides of the body. The underside has a central, rotating brush which flicks material into metal pans on either side. The maker's mark 'Ewbank 1200' is printed on top of the body. There is a rectangular hole in the top of the body which originally housed a lever to open the pans, but this has been lost.

25. Sweeper, Carpet - A wooden Ewbank Success carpet sweeper, belonged to David and Mary Clarke, circa 1920s. The sweeper consists of a wooden body, with three wheels on either side (two large and a smaller one in the middle) and a cord around the outside with white rubber buffers on each corner. Each of the wheels has been bound with blue or green electrical tape in order to make them contact each other. The sweeper has a wooden broom handle which screws into a metal frame that fits into the sides of the body. The corners of the metal frame have rubber buffers similiar to those around the body. The underside has a central, rotating brush which flicks material into metal pans on either side. The maker's mark 'Ewbank Success' is printed on each side of the body and there is a 'British Manufacture' logo of a Lion and flags in the centre.

The table has a wooden top that fits to a green painted metal base, which has folding legs and an extending shaft that sets the angle of the table. The base is painted green, apart from bands on either side of the legs that lock into place. The wooden top has a narrow shelf along the bottom edge and a small square at the top left corner for the drafting machine clamp. The table has numerous pin holes in its surface, especially along the sides.

The tags consist of two compressed cardboard discs, one green octagonal one and one red circular one. Both are stamped with Chittock's details and are threaded with string through holes.

39. Talisman - Satin horseshoe talisman, used by Enid Hutt (need Bray) at her wedding to Jack Hutt in 1958. The talisman is made of cream satin gathered into a horseshoe shape and decorated with a spray of flowers at the bottom. There is a satin ribbon attached at each end of the horseshoe.

40. Tankard - A souvenir brass tankard engraved with a timeline with illustrations of the 2nd NZ Division's campaigns in Europe and North Africa, World War II. The cylindrical tankard tapers slightly to the lip and has a squared handle attached to one side. The timeline starts in February 1940 in Maadi Camp and continues with major events and battles until May 1945 in Trieste. In the middle of the timeline is an engraving of the NZ Onward Badge. An engraving along the bottom edge of the timeline says brass used for the tankard was salvaged from battlefields in North Africa. The tankard was originally chromeplated but this has been removed apart from on the bottom of the base.

41. Tantalus - Small wooden Tantalus cabinet awarded to P Morrison for winning the 1 Mile Flat Race, 1888. The Tantalus has a rectangular wooden base, two wooden sides, and a wooden top with a metal handle attached. The base is designed to hole three alcohol bottles, and the top secures the bottles in place. There are two metal plaques at each side of the base to connect the base and sides. One plaque is engraved "SCAAC 1888 virtus omnia wincit", the other reads "Won by P Morrison May 1888 Time 5 Minutes and 5 sec." Another plaque in the centre reads "1 Mile Flat Race."

43. Tap, Beer - Metal beer tap, circa 1970. The main body of the tap is stainless steel and there is a plastic cap on one end and a rubber bung on the other. There is a connection with a lever to control the flow of liquids through the tap. The side of the tap is engraved with "GP 42".

44. Tapestry - Tapestry of a map of New Zealand made for Queen Elizabeth II's visit to New Zealand in 1954. The tapestry depicts the regions of New Zealand in different colours, and marks the four major cities with a black dot. The top left corner depicts a green Maori tiki in a yellow circle. There is a red crown in the top right corner, a compass in the bottom right corner, and the bottom left corner reads "1953-4". The backing of the tapestry is linen and there is a strip of white cotton at the top.

The centre of the target is painted black with "13" written in white. Yellow, green, red, white, and blue rings radiate out from the central circle. There are seven hooks inserted into the plywood in each of the coloured zones and accompanied by numbers "1, 2, 4, 6, 9," and "11". The target is accompanied by two small balck rubber rings to be thrown over the hooks. There is a hook on the back of the target for hanigng on a wall.
